Smothered lentils from Carrie

Smothered Lentils

2 cups dry lentils, rinsed and sorted
1 medium onion chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup cooked ham, chopped
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp ground coriander
salt and pepper to taste
3 cups water

Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Cover. cook on low 8 hours. (Check lentils after 5 hours of cooking. If they've absorbed all the water, stir in one more cup.)
